Writing Mentorship
Let us start from the beginning. You may have a great idea - concept for a story - a tale bursting to be told, but no way of knowing how to bring this to life.
For whatever reason, you struggle to comprehend the writing process, the structure needed or even allocate the time to produce a manuscript of value. Well, problem solved! We now offer guidance to aspiring writers from Australia and around the world in the development of either a non-fiction or fiction manuscript.
This includes mentoring sessions on the options you can take to outline your story, tips in writing, scheduling, analysis, and critiques; this program turns a novice into a quality writer.
We have had incredible success with our writing mentoring including an international executive coach successfully pitching the first two chapters to one of the top five publishing houses, gaining interest and then a contract.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The writing mentoring process is as follows;

STAGE ONE - outline, crafting, timelines (a Zoom/Skype call where we discuss the plan involved. You are then set a task (two in fact) to achieve by a certain date.)

STAGE TWO - review and discuss, plot, beginning writing, theme vs insight, show not tell (an email review of the tasks from Stage One. We then schedule another call where we can discuss the outline and crafting and set out stage for the writing itself and the things to remember as we go through the storytelling.)

STAGE THREE - critique and review – ongoing (a critique of each chapter - preferably 2 at a time - where we read and report on each.)

STAGE FOUR - self-edit and Manuscript Appraisal
WHAT DOES IT COST?
The pricing for the first two stages is set at $850AUD. Each two-chapter critique is $125AUD. The Appraisal is dependent on word count but is usually priced between $500 - $1000AUD.
HOW LONG DOES THE WRITING MENTORSHIP TAKE?
Stage One and Two run for 1 hour each. Following that you are set tasks and we are vigilant on this. How long it takes you to write your manuscript is totally in your hands but we do have a system where it can be written within 30 days. Each two-chapter critique is done within 72 hours of receipt.
DO I HAVE TO PUBLISH WITH YOU ONCE DONE?
No. As always we encourage authors to do their due diligence and explore their options. Naturally, we would like to continue the journey in bringing your book to life and see it through, but it has to be your call.
